The SELC 101 Sub-Miniature Photocells have been designed for the very large variety of security and general purpose lighting fixtures employed today in both public and private lighting schemes.

The SELC 101-B Photocells can be fitted within illuminated signs. The daylight entering through the translucent cover operates the Photocell. This product is therefore very useful in areas of vandalism etc. Ideal for the dusk-dawn switching of illuminated traffic bollards.

Dusk to dawn light control is now essential both for the control of signage, amenity, street light bollards and all types of lighting where a nema type photocell is not suitable.

The SELC 101-TF Photocells are ideal for mounting within a control cabinet with the sensor protruding so as to see the ambient light. Also suitable for use with street lighting, providing it is utilised in conjunction with an electrical contactor or high power relay.

The customised SELC 101-ELT Photocell is ideal for the temporary isolation of the incoming mains supply in emergency lighting and exit sign lighting applications for a preset time. The mains is isolated by shining a flashlight directly on to the detector. This eliminates the need to switch off the mains supply at the control cabinet.

Note: In the interest of safety and as per legislation this type of lighting must be checked at least once per month.
